MILWAUKEE – April 30, 2013 – Associated Bank has hired one new colleague and promoted two to its Milwaukee leadership team.
Michael Shlensky has been hired as senior vice president, director of retirement plan services for Associated’s Private Client Services group. In this role he is responsible for developing and executing the business plan for this part of Associated’s business, which includes product management, business expansion and client service delivery processes. He brings more than 30 years of retirement and institutional trust services experience to Associated, most recently as managing director at BMO Trust and Custody Services. Shlensky holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His office is in the Milwaukee Plaza East building located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.
Gwen Dansby has been promoted to senior vice president, community affairs/CRA officer. She is responsible for overseeing Associated’s community reinvestment act program by providing guidance and monitoring the bank’s performance in complying with the requirements of the CRA. She is also responsible for helping connect customers with low and moderate incomes with Associated’s products and services. Dansby previously was a vice president in the same area. She has more than 25 years of financial services experience and holds her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.
Paul Flagstad has been promoted to vice president, marketing analytics manager where his is focused on the market research of the organization. His primary responsibilities include ensuring the quality of fielding, analysis and delivery of the bank’s voice of the customer programs. He also manages the primary and secondary customer research partners, projects and deliverables for stakeholders across the bank’s business lines. Prior to accepting this position Flagstad was an assistant vice president, senior analyst. He holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and business law from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. His office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.
