The Associated Veterans Network (AVN), an Associated Bank colleague resource group that provides a network for military veterans within the company, recently supported the Military Officers Club of Northeastern Wisconsin’s (MOCNEW) Veterans Benefit Golf Outing and received an award and plaque for its contributions.
The MOCNEW is the local affiliate of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), which is committed to providing tailored opportunities for veterans in Northeastern Wisconsin. MOCNEW was founded in May 1958 as The Retired Officers Club of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. and has 125 members made up of currently serving, former and retired officers and their survivors.
In its first full year as an Associated colleague resource group, the AVN has donated $12,250 to benefit programs and organizations that support military veterans and families in the communities we serve.
The AVN is dedicated to supporting military colleagues and community members, serving as a resource for personal and professional development. Associated colleagues can help build awareness of issues facing military veterans in communities we serve by getting involved in programs and activities across our footprint that support veterans.
Associated colleagues from the Associated Veterans Network were recognized with an award for their recent support of the Military Officers Club of Northeastern Wisconsin’s (MOCNEW) Veterans Benefit Golf Outing.
