Associated Bank provided two vacant office buildings to non-profits in Green Bay and La Crosse, as announced last week, as a donation or at a highly discounted rate.
In Green Bay, Associated donated its property at 112 N. Adams St. to NeighborWorks Green Bay, which will rent space at reasonable rates to nonprofit organizations, including the United Way of Brown County and Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes. One or two additional tenants may occupy the two-story, 20,000-square-foot building in the future.
“NeighborWorks will own the property and lease space at highly advantageous rates to other not-for-profit service organizations performing their own important work in our community,” said Denis Hogan, Green Bay market president for Associated Bank.

A former Associated Bank location at the corner of La Crosse and Seventh Streets in La Crosse has been sold to the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce at a substantial discount. In addition to the chamber, other non-profits will also be housed at the location.
"To be able to have a reasonably priced facility that a number of different organizations can utilize helps them be more effective, more financially viable as well and we think that just improves the economic well-being of La Crosse and the surrounding area,” said David Stein, executive vice president of Associated Bank.
