Associated Bank, Bank of the Packers since 1919, will be hosting ‘Associated Packers Community Day’ in celebration of the bank’s historic relationship with the Green Bay Packers, on Sunday, October 26, from 1 – 4 p.m., at the Lambeau Field – Tundra Tailgate Zone Tent.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet alumni players, play games, enjoy music, support the Brown County United Way, and much more. This is a free event.
"To celebrate our longstanding relationship with the Packers, Associated is excited to host this fun and interactive community day for area fans,” said Christopher Piotrowski, chief marketing officer, Associated Bank. “In addition to all the fun events taking place, we’ll be hosting a United Way drive during the event to benefit children throughout the county.”
William Henderson and Santana Dotson, 1996 Packers Superbowl players, will be greeting fans and signing autographs from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and George Koonce and Dorsey Levens from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Fans will receive an autographed Packers photo and have their photo taken and emailed to them. Fans will not be able to bring their own item for autographing or use their cell phone to take additional photos with the players.
The West De Pere High School marching band will be performing from 2 – 4 p.m. and will include a special performance by the band’s drumline.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the Associated Packers Fan Experience where they will be treated to a unique and engaging activity that will test their game readiness - matched to that of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Fans can see how they measure up to Rodgers in an interactive fan journey that tests their skills, accuracy, speed and smarts. The stats, along with their photo with a Lambeau Field backdrop, will be sent to them digitally on a Packers football card that can be shared through social media channels.
A variety of interactive family activities include pumpkin decorating, pumpkin bowling, face painting, bean bag toss, field goal kick and football toss, and a Lambeau Leap.
Fans attending the celebration are encouraged to bring items to support a Brown County United Way drive benefiting the Community Partnership for Children (CPC) — an initiative that benefits more than 40 area nonprofits. A truck will be on site for collecting diapers, wipes, baby blankets, clothing (baby, toddler), bibs, infant carrier car seats (new only), baby wash, shampoo, carbon monoxide detectors, safety latches and locks, and baby gates.
“Brown County United Way and the Community Partnership for Children are so pleased to be part of the Associated Packers Fan Day,” said Sarah Inman, vice president of Community Investment and Strategic Impact for United Way. “The baby and toddler items collected at the event will help countless families across the community to provide their children with some very basic, very important necessities.”
